Our practice focuses on four areas: estate planning; probate; asset protection planning; and litigation involving estates and trusts such as will contests. Dan Campbell is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of Texas in two specialty areas: (1) estate planning and probate law and (2) civil trial law. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
The “asset protection planning” part of the practice involves the following: Medicaid planning and implementation. We work two types of Medicaid cases. One is a “crisis plan” where someone is already in a nursing home or will need to be in the very near future and needs to protect assets while qualifying for Medicaid. The other is a “non-crisis plan” where someone is interested in protecting assets if they should need long term care in the future, but are presently in reasonably good health.
